Students seeking admission to the MBA Program should have passed bachelor’s degree of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Science, Engineering/Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 60% of marks in the aggregate. Must have scored well/appeared in any one of the national level entrance examinations, viz., CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT etc.

Entrance Test (ISAT) & Personal Interview

*Eligibility criteria are subject to change based on university directives and all admissions must be approved by the Bangalore University.

Eligible candidates will be invited for the admission selection process which includes written test i.e., IMAT followed by personal interview. The final decision to admit a candidate will be based on the academic records, entrance test and performance in the personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria

The admissions are made as per the norms and guidelines as laid down by the respective state governments and affiliated Universities from time to time. The Director IFIM SSO would ensure that all eligible students have passed the requisite qualifying examinations.

  • The candidates, who have passed under-graduate degree course of Bangalore University/KSLU or an equivalent examination, will be eligible to join PG degree courses.

In the case of candidates who have passed other examinations, the Director IFIM College/Principal Law School would obtain the clearance from the Registrar, Bangalore University/KSLU (Affiliating University) about the eligibility of the candidates before confirming their admissions.

The admission committee finalizes the selection list as per the direction of Directorate of College Education.

WRITTEN TEST: IMAT

IFIM conducts its own online scholastic aptitude test known as IMAT to assess students across.

  • IMAT is an AI- Proctored Test (virtual mode)

  • Number of sections: Quantitative and logic, Reasoning abilities & English comprehension

  • Number of questions: 60 questions

  • Total Marks: 60

  • Duration: 60 Minutes

Personal Interview

The Personal Interview can be conducted in IFIM Campus or Regional Offices, or Virtual Mode through SKYPE, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. The Personal Interview Panel should consist of at least 3 members of which, 2 shall be academicians and 1 alumnus from IFIM Group of Institutions. The final decision to admit a candidate will be based on the overall performance in the complete admission selection process.

The admission committee finalizes the selection list as per the direction of the Directorate of College Education.

Criteria for Exemption from Eligibility Certificate

The Candidates who have qualified with the following Examinations are exempted from the production of the eligibility Certificate.

  • I. Higher Secondary Certificate course (+2), conducted by the Government of Karnataka/or any other state government

  • II. All India Senior School Certificate Course conducted by CBSE

  • III. Delhi Senior Certificate Course, conducted by CBSE

  • IV. Indian School Certificate Course, conducted by ICSE

  • V. National Institute of open schooling – NIOS

  • VI. International Baccalaureate (IB)

  • VII. Cambridge A levels

Selection Criteria

Eligibility criteria for IFIM College:

The eligibility criteria for all UG programmes are 50% and above marks in class 10th & 12th.
