Details of the event: The objective of the Behavioural Economics event was to help students understand the role of emotions in economic decision making. Students were explained how attitudes, biases, heuristics, moods temptations play a role in decision making and make us behave irrationally and how the same are employed in marketing through real world examples. The students were able to acknowledge the errors in their own decision making and take cognizance of biases that interfere in rationality.
